As a family nurse practitioner (FNP) with over 5 years of experience in primary care NURS FPX 4035 Assessment 3, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of family-centered care on patient outcomes. In our testing of various care models, we found that family-centered care not only improves patient satisfaction but also leads to better health outcomes and reduced healthcare costs [CITE: Institute of Medicine, 2001]. In this essay, I will discuss the principles of family-centered care, its benefits, and the challenges of implementing this care model in primary care settings.
