Manaslu Circuit Trek Permits
Manaslu Circuit Trek Permits
Manaslu Circuit Trek requires three types of permits. This is because the path traverses Manaslu Conservation and limited areas. All of its permits are mandatory and checked at different points along the Manaslu Circuit Trek Route.
Firstly, you need to have the Restricted Area Permit (RAP) for the Manaslu region. This is the main permit and depends on your trekking period. Secondly, the trekkers must have the Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP). This entails entry into the protected areas like Philim (1,570m) and Deng (1,860m).
Thirdly, you must buy the Annapurna Conservation Entry Area Permit (ACAP). This is because the trail joins the Annapurna Circuit after Dharapani (1,963m). Just like MCAP and ACAP, both of them are issued for a number of days.
