Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI)
The Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI), founded on 27 February 1981, was created to unite industry players as the number of palm oil companies in Indonesia grew. Starting with just 23 members—including state-owned plantation companies (BUMN), private national and foreign enterprises, and farmer cooperatives—GAPKI has since become the leading organization representing Indonesia’s palm oil industry. The association plays a key role in advancing production, promoting sustainability, and supporting the economic development of the sector.
