BiPAP Machine
A BiPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) machine is a medical device used to provide non-invasive ventilation for patients with breathing difficulties, particularly those with conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sleep apnea, or other respiratory disorders. Unlike a CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machine, which delivers a single constant pressure, a BiPAP machine provides two levels of pressure: a higher pressure when the patient inhales and a lower pressure when they exhale. This dual pressure setting makes breathing easier and more comfortable for the patient, improving ventilation and oxygenation. BiPAP machines are often used in both hospital and home settings.
